N95's do nothing to prevent virus infection. Regular "surgical" masks do nothing as well. 2 x 0 = STILL 0.

The N95 may block some larger virus particles. But I suspect even they can get through if it's wet.

No. N95 is a very specific standard. The flu virus is far smaller than that minimum opening in the filter medium.

And that is all on the assumption that the filter medium is perfectly sealed to the wearer's face.
