There was another video circulating a week or two ago where all the passengers got off the plane in protest because the airline tried to throw out a family with an unmasked baby. I think it might have been in Israel. The lack of any support by Americans for their countrymen here other than "ok I'll film for you" is sickening.
Many people who understand the face diaper is useless still wear one out of “consideration” for others.
“Other people have irrational fears, so I will wear my face diaper so they feel better.”
The problem with this is that by accommodating mental illness you are actually enabling and encouraging it. You wouldn’t be helping by buying razor blades for a cutter, or booze for an alcoholic would you?
Where I live, probably 80-90% mask in stores, and I would be willing to bet only 10-15% of those are doing it because they believe. The vast majority of mask wearers are doing it out of misplaced “kindness” and/or not wanting to be harassed for not wearing one.
Branch covidians need to see us out and about, breathing fresh air, not dropping dead and living our lives. This is one of the many ways we can gently break their psychosis.
If that doesn’t work, we can always fall back to mocking them relentlessly until they take their ball and run home crying and then become an heroes, rendering the issue “moot”

99% of Americans in my local grocery are still wearing the useless face diaper, even though it has not been mandated in my state for 9 months.
