Portland has become such a disgusting city. It's a shame. I was born there but grew up mostly in the metro area. As a kid I always looked forward to going into town and seeing the tall buildings and dozens of bridges hundreds of feet in the air. It was a beautiful little big city. Now driving through Portland is like nothing I ever would have thought I'd see anywhere in the USA. There isn't a cement wall along the freeway that isn't tagged up almost entirely. There isn't a 50 yard stretchwithout a tent or dozens full of addicts and bike chop shops and busted grocery carts. I absolutely won't get off the freeway in that city if I do end up having to pass through. Unfortunately it is definitely spreading too. The metro cities are trying their best to be just as bad.
