Title is misleading. They gained over 30 million new users but lost market share because other competitors like HBO Max and Disney+ have emerged.

I can't help but wonder if those numbers are inflated by package deals with cell phone plans and what not.

I have so much more freetime after canceling netflix and not watching sports. Time for hobbies, time for friends and family, time for whatever I want other than globalist brainwashing.

Me too man. Reading books, expanded my garden. I feel lots better too, much more productive.

Indeed. Have 5 apple trees in the yard now, in addition to a much expanded raised garden. Been helping my dad out with a lot more of the equipment maintenance at the farm. I was going shooting with friends and family a lot more, but that particular activity dried up with the ammo.

I have had Netflix for at least the last 10 years, but last year I cancelled my Netflix! There are some good shows on there that I really like like “call the midwife” And black mirror but I don’t care I wouldn’t watch one of them if I was at someone else’s house! If someone turns on Netflix at their house, I will leave!

You mean PEDOFLIX. Only degenerate leftists minds think 12 year olds in stripper clothes air fucking is appropriate entertainment.

Cancelled it a long time ago. Don't miss it. I read a lot but very rarely fiction. Started doing more of that, really enjoying it.

What's a Netflix?

3
GOPkilledTHEMSELVES 3 points ago +3 / -0

Is it because the went woke or because other competitors and new entrants are taking up that former Netflix share?

Had them for 17 years and ditched them over 'Cuties.'

jhewish 3 points ago +3 / -0

Cancel them and download all of their shit and leave it seeding 24 hours a day 7 days week (don't watch it though)

i cancelled my netflix last year. the obama bs, then the constant pushing of shows with SJW agenda, pedos, etc, just was done. Shame too, they had some shows i liked.

People would do themselves a favor to get a VPN service, and then do some searches on the phrase "popcorn time"

Jesus Fucking Christ -- it is "GET" woke not "GO" woke. Its "Get Woke Go Broke" - my god can boomers ever get a meme right?

Don't take the Lord's name in vain.

The meaning is clear either way. Millennials need to relax.

Finally, the correct word is "it's" instead of "its".

Thank you.

i'm sure it has nothing to do with the lack of quality programming and the rise of competitive services. i have all the streaming services and netflix has gone downhill a lot in the last few years. they lost most of the nbc stuff to hulu and peacock. disney+ blows them out of the water when it comes to original series. hbo max beats them on sheer quality. even amazon prime has a much better selection now. netflix tried to focus on it's originals and failed more often than not.

It is a factor of things. People protesting Netflix, in addition to the growing market share of competitors, is something to be said.

The most effective protests are those that support the companies competitors.

They lost millions when they hired Barry and his husband, Manchelle/ Big Mike. I unsubscribed once those racist demons were hired.

It appears to have nothing to do with wokeism. The streaming market is robust with a handful of options, all with exclusive content that seems to be high profile. Here on out I think what we will see from the streaming market is a rotating subscription trend as people cancel one to sub to another when the shows they want to watch are coming out.
