Oh yeah. I just hit the legal drinking age so they made sure to remind me all the time absolutely no alcohol. Dr told me it had an ingredient that was given to alcoholics that would make them sick if they drank. Not sure if that was true but I didn't want to roll the dice. Each time I got off the antis, an infection would come back. I was on them for a little over a year. Thankfully my health is the best it's been since my diagnosis. Was metro and cipro just for infection prophylaxis with all the immunosuppressive drugs?
Yes metro is rough. Potential disulfiram like reactions with alcohol as well. Tough to be on long term.
