That's not the point, really, if you've never bought pot with your state ID, you can lie all you want - it's the people who have bought with a state ID that are fucked - if they lie on the form, it's double felony bonanza.

No some stores scan the barcode like at a bar. Many however just look at your I'd that let yourself n the store. Getting a medical card is far better. Don't have to pay ridiculous prices for less than stunning mj and can grow it yourself.
It is a huge violation waiting to be challenged in court if they try to cross reference data.

Trust me they aren't scanning everyone's ID to buy pot. At least in California.
