Trump told people to peacefully make their voices heard, despite an unfolding situation that justified taking drastic action.
While the political leaders, the federal agencies, the courts of Justice, and the military stood idly by, gazing at their shoestrings and muttering flimsy excuses for betraying their solemn oaths, impotently allowing Communist China to brazenly steal the executive seat of national authority, a few hundred thousand unarmed citizens from the left AND the right intervened, and proved with boldly demonstrated but largely nonviolent action that the people are the ultimate source of authority in this country, and we will not silently acquiesce to be ruled by tyrants.
It was not a coup, or an attempt at insurrection, easily proven by the fact that not a single shot was fired from the crowd. It was a demonstration that clearly showed that the consent of the governed CAN be withdrawn
And not going into a losing battle is not ‘bitching out’ — it’s how you keep from getting your whole army massacred and maneuver to a more advantageous position.
Trump is still fighting to win, and so are we. No one who’s been paying attention thought this was going to be easy, or would be solved by winning any single election.
And if your not a shill, you should be ashamed of yourself for describing President Trump that way, because it shows how little understanding you have of how much tireless work and personal sacrifice he put into accomplishing key actions in this fight, ones with long term benefits to you and your kids — and thus how much more indebted to him you actually are.
