Cuomo got a $4M advance for his latest book. His previous book sold 4,000 copies, resulting in about $80K in gross revenue (before costs of publishing). Why would a publisher give him a $4,000,000 advance with that track record? Simple, they give him the money, his staff (part of the Cuomo Crime Contingent) writes the book (against the law, by the way), then political supporters (teacher's unions, business interests, etc.) buy carton upon carton of this boring POS "book", then stick them in a closet at PS 169 or burn them. Voila!

With digital book sales they don’t even need to bother printing them. I think some interesting connections would be made if one looked at where the publishers money was coming from
Dont forget they can also use the ccp, illegal aliens, or gangs for money laundering
