As a lifelong Democrat, now that I have learned more about conservatives to realize I'm a conservative... I feel like conservatives are more of a "life is great right now, let's keep it exactly the same." They turn into frogs in a boiling pot. Until one day they all jump. You probably won't like what happens if Republicans have to defend the republic.
