Here's my take - if you're going to wear the stupid mask, you may as well wear it in the way the communists demand. That means covering your mouth and nose. The two options are compliance or rebellion - you can't put it on "incorrectly" and then get upset when someone calls you on it. Wear it or don't.

My wife and I choose to spend our restaurant money ONLY at face-friendly restaurants. Find a group of like minded folks in social media that share the face-friendly merchants.
