Off topic, but how is the industry these days (not counting the downturn due to covid)? I went to flight school/college back around 2000, but never managed to get my foot in the door (ended up in a totally different profession). Really loved flying, but getting those coveted hours wasn't happening.
The pilot shortage that has been talked about for the last few decades is finally getting here. So many of us will be retiring in the next few years that it will be hard to fill the empty seats. The regionals have all lowered their requirements, and schools like ATP are training zero time guys to regional minimums for around $70K -100K (that's a loan you can actually pay off).

With Disney now owning 21st Century Fox too, means a huge stable of classics, movies and TV will be available on their streaming service. Something which over a record of almost 100 years is difficult to compete with for someone like Netflix.
