I recalled reading Amazon Prime isn't growing much considering it is doing wonder for Netflix and Disney+ during pandemic. Those cancelled must have dragged it a bit.
Funny I saw a post saying netflix is going down. Disney plus is still a new platform too so of course it's growing, and the pandemic would mask any trends too.
Disney+ is expanding their platform from just the standard, they've now got something called Star, which is basically adult movies from a wide range of production studios all through the one app. They're actively working to become the main streaming service, and after being able to check out the differences between what's available on Disney+, Netflix and Stan, they're going to succeed.
With Disney now owning 21st Century Fox too, means a huge stable of classics, movies and TV will be available on their streaming service. Something which over a record of almost 100 years is difficult to compete with for someone like Netflix.
