It sounds more like a famous Alec Guinness movie, based on a book. A woman from a wealthy family marries for love and ends up impoverished and her son gets no respect trying to do everything right and turns to killing his worthless relatives to take claim to the family's title. It's an awesome movie.
I love Mel Gibson and I think he just did this to bring attention to the Rothschilds even though it has nothing to do with them. Funny choice going with that kid from Transformers, but Mel always likes to give wayward actors second chances.
