If he does well (I think he will), he can make conservative late night hosts a viable commodity. "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in." ~ Leonard Cohen

I watched, it was cool to see Kayleigh McEnany. Not the funniest or best he's done. I liked his old set better. I think it will be hard to make it work on a daily basis, especially without Trump leading the news. Trump was fully of energy, exciting, and fun... watching his detractors cry even more fun. Biden is just sad, even the cheese smoking dope of a son is sad. I can laugh at delusions of CNN imagining things that aren't real, but an addicted degenerate and doddering dad is sad. They're puppets of something evil destroying this country. Best wishes to Gutfeld, but this going to be hard to be funny.
I pretty much agree. What you said about the set is true - already a little hollywood gloss showing. The only way I see it thriving and going the distance is if they incorporate maybe skits, man on the street interviews, etc. Imus would be a good model. Let his panel out of their boxes - the way the group around Imus used to scruff on him and other members of the staff ... good luck to him though. He definitely has enough edge to pull it off. Shalue is very poor mimic ....
