I lost my dad when I was 5. At that age, as much as it sucked to grow up without a dad, it was not nearly as damaging as it was to my older siblings. He is full of shit if he even claims to remember his Mother. I barely remember my Dad. It's sad but true. You suck it up and get on with your life, you don't become a crack head.
