I think maybe the reason we have so much corruption at the top of society these days is due to the perverse incentives. When hiring a CEO, the one who is best for your stock price is the one who knows how best to spend money lobbying for political carve-outs. Same concept applies across government and military. It's long been an issue, but the Obama admin put this into overdrive.
For many of these people, it's just all about power, wealth, and prestige. There is no higher purpose.
The bigger question is whether there are others orchestrating this who do have a very specific purpose that does not have the greater welfare of people as a priority. I suggest there are, and they've been at this for a long time.
Well, fortunate had it that you didn't let $$$ or ego drive you into becoming the CEO of CITI Group, which you may well could have, if you had the potential and interest of course. But you went your own way and took destiny into your own hands. You've earned my respect.
Well, we know Soros played a huge role into getting Obama elected according to the Wikileak emails, or at least everything behind his entire campaign. We know Soros' money/funds also ended up in the pockets of McCain ... and likely more RINOS etc. So, he funds both sides of the aisles.
We know Soros loved working for the Nazis and it was his happiest time. No matter fellow Jews were sent off into camps etc. and confiscating their properties and belongings. So, maybe, as Reagan was arguing in the 70s, why he campaigned, became President and "reversed" the order of things, is exactly because of wanting to turn the US into this big Government, big corporations and everything intertwined from the CIA, FBI, Military and NSA way of life. Where "life" itself has a second place and meaning, including human freedom, enlightenment and opportunity.

Soros is behind plenty that is wrong in this world. Buying off both parties in an election is exactly his M.O. I sure hope we get to find out who, if anyone, is behind (or above) him.
Someone staked him with his initial fortune. I've read a few versions of who that was, but have never been convinced one way or the other. My best guess is Rothschilds, but that requires buying into a much deeper storyline.
