I'd like to see this adjusted for percent of population which is of vaccine-eligible age. Is Utah last because it has so many large families and thus a smaller percentage of the population old enough to be eligible for vaccination? Or is there some other factor significantly contributing to its position on the list?
I agree with you. Why use the entire population base? Well, it's easier to get a quick reference number, but I would surmise that Arkansas with a population of 3.2 million has about maybe 2.3 million who are vaccine eligible according to age >16 and other possible reasons that has nothing to do with age but would NOT get this jab. So, that would be about 20 percent of the population. Asa wants that to be 80 percent which is not going to happen. 2.5 million Arkansans won't do that.
