I took this email a few ways (in addition to the initial view that inspires said shaking).

We're a population so accustomed to these security measures that we identify them as being security measures unquestioningly. From picking up stuff at Lowe's to getting carded at Walmart, whatever it is, Americans (I would think) already know deep down that people who oppose these very things when it comes to our elections are absolutely full of it. It's an argument based purely in accusation (i.e., that secure elections are racist, of course).

Is being carded for alcohol, lottery tickets, or cigarettes racist? What about biometric scanners? What about pin codes, etc. on our personal or work devices?

racism doesn't enter into it AT ALL

your elections are LESS SECURE than picking shit up at a store

this should piss you off if your intention is anything other than to be a cheater at elections

But it gets even worse.

Not one, but TWO elderly mixed couples were witnessed on the premises during this very pickup. Authorities should have been notified of these bigots (both male, of course) and their unwitting s3x slav3 "spouses."

Who cares about elections compared to that?! I almost didn't even want my new toilet seats after seeing this. The world is truly coming down...

I have a government issued ID so this obviously has no impact on me.

Besides, if it says "Made in China," I know with full confidence that all research and development for that product was done with painstaking pride in the USA.

But seriously, and to your point, some of the lumber I've purchased recently ($$$!!!) came with a "Made in Taiwan" sticker on it. Don't ever recall seeing that before. Guess they stayed open over there? (And yes, that plywood was a Home Depot purchase.)
