We have a Trump 2020 flag and American flag hanging on our house, and my car has a Trump Train sticker on the back window. Honestly didnt think they triggered people that badly, but clearly I was wrong. Doordash doesnt allow you to contact them directly after the order is "completed" so I couldnt shit down her neck, so I had to settle for a 1-star review essentially telling her to gobble scrote.

Not parody, but doordash doesnt allow you to do much other than file a complaint. I wasnt gonna hop in my car and chase her down over $25. Doordash credited me my money back and I ordered elsewhere, just finished eating. 👍🏻

I would be sending a complaint to the places where you ordered your food, and I mean just to make them aware of the way DD delivery driver behaved. It would be much better off if businesses used their own employees for delivery rather than this shitty delivery services who have drivers never held accountable by the driving business they are employed by.

All these delivery services creep me out. The people who do them are usually the absolute bottom of the barrel sludge of the gene pool.

...and some, I assume, are good people.

I'm glad you added 'usually' there. I was one of the ones started doing Uber Eats, switched to Uber, did it for 8ish months, paid off my credit card and got myself enough 'work history' to get a retail job with the flexibility I needed at the time. Before that I couldn't get hired because I was considered 'overqualified'.

Just wanting to work, here.

It's expensive and inconvenient to employ drivers. Having a profit sharing arrangement with a middleman is easier and cheaper.

Oh so you did get your money back, thats good... Yea fuck door dash anyway, 10 bucks in delivery fees is extreme.

Plus 30% of the bill from the restaurant.

plus waiting 3 hours when you could have driving there and picked it up in half an hour.

We only used doordash once when we were super busy and wanted food from a local joint. Never, ever using it again. We thought we were saving time by doing our chores and ordering food, we ended up finishing our chores and waiting hours for it to arrive cold and gross.

I can't imagine being lazy enough to use door dash

Once in awhile I'll order something, but I live too rural for Doordash and GrubHub, so driving in is the only option.

For all us conservatives that give a fuck about small businessmen, using this service fucks them over big time and is more than a reason to never use it.

Not really the issue here per say, but I have to ask, why would you allow a stranger with a cell phone to have access to your food unsupervised?

Basically, literally anyone with a car and a cell phone can get gigs doing door dash and the like, they have no supervision and are independent contractors. The restaurants don't get to vet them really.

I have seen some of the weirdos who work for these places, and trust me, you DO NOT want these people touching your food, or knowing where you live.

For every decent clean person who does this job, there is a matching nasty slob with questionable ethics or perverted tendencies also doing it.

Just had to say my piece.
