The fact is the only time they will ever take the lid off their toybox is if they have nothing else to do. Quit buying them stupid shit in toy aisles altogether. It accomplishes nothing and you're just pissing away money.

These are the things kids really need:

Fishing and camping trips. Bowling nights. Skating rinks. County fairs. Trampoline parks. Driving ranges. Junior sports leagues. Beach days. Movie nights. Lazer tag. Six Flags. Water parks. Miniature golf.

Bows, pellet guns, 4 wheelers, bushcraft kits, baseball gloves, roller hockey equipment, flag football gear. Informative books. And tons of other shit they'd actually want to play with.

Boys need HS football, which has nothing to do with the the fucking NFL. But the only way you'd know they need it is if you played it in school yourself. Most parents these days are fuckin dorks and have no idea, especially single moms.

I did play, and no they don't.

People are different and need different things, and the comraderie that comes with football can be found elsewhere and replaced, if the NFL wants to continue down this path.

Or do you expect them to progress to college football? Did you forget that colleges are currently one of our biggest enemies right now?

It's not about progressing to college, we're talking about HS Football. Not college, not the NFL. HS

Edit: But if the kid isn't built for football he can play baseball
