When my parents first got covid, it was “you should have gotten vaccinated.” But a week later my aunt and uncle caught it.
When they first caught it, it was “well we only have a mild case because we got vaccinated.” But then it got worse. Worse than my unvaccinated parents had it.
Now we’re in stage: “Well, because of our pre-existing conditions, we would have gone to the hospital if it wasn’t for the vaccine.”
Absolutely idiotic.
My parents are both 67 and overweight. They got covid a few days before my aunt and uncle. They’re now recovering and pretty much over it. Aunt and uncle gloated about getting vaccinated and now they’re on steroids and doing worse.
The vaccine is worthless. You can still catch chyna virus, plus you are risking a serious allergic reaction, and even death in some cases. I literally just saw someone pass out at work a few days ago, she had just received the vaccine. It's dangerous, please talk to your friends and family, let them know the dangers so they can make an informed decision.
Let’s just say that hypothetically the vaccine is safe, free to me and to my insurance, and I absolutely love being poked with needles:
Even with my hypotheticals above, that’s not worth taking. For $25k and I’d probably take it myself and roll the dice, but there’s no way in hell you are injecting experimental drugs in my kids. If I’m going to be helping your medical trial you need to make it worth my time.
On the other hand, I fully support each and every moron who is scared to death of the wu coof getting their vaccine as soon as possible. I know it’s probably not Christ-like, but fuck em
I don't know if the chance of survival stays at 99.98% or if it goes up (or more likely down significantly). Does anyone know that?

Anyone who gives you an answer to that is talking out of their ass. We will have a better idea after the animal trials are finished.

I don't know anyone who has died from COVID or even gotten seriously ill. I know an 86 yr old who sailed through COVID. I now know several people who have had serious reactions to the vaccine and most were still eager for shot #2, young and old.
The two people I know that died were killed by hospitals blowing out their lungs.
Yeah, the vents were killing people. We were advised by whom to use vents....? Oh yeah, China recommended that.
