When my parents first got covid, it was “you should have gotten vaccinated.” But a week later my aunt and uncle caught it.
When they first caught it, it was “well we only have a mild case because we got vaccinated.” But then it got worse. Worse than my unvaccinated parents had it.
Now we’re in stage: “Well, because of our pre-existing conditions, we would have gone to the hospital if it wasn’t for the vaccine.”
Absolutely idiotic.
My parents are both 67 and overweight. They got covid a few days before my aunt and uncle. They’re now recovering and pretty much over it. Aunt and uncle gloated about getting vaccinated and now they’re on steroids and doing worse.
Sounds likely because of everything else. I'm pretty such the town I live in now got it (me included) Feb 2020, way before we were supposed, it was pretty terrible and I don't think you fully recover. What I see, is get the Covid Vax, everyone's getting Covid, why haven't you got Covid yet?
My parents both got Covid and had a really rough go with it. They both swear there is something from it that lingers in the body to this day. Their joints would flair up in terrible pain for months afterwards and they never had had joint pain before. They seemed beat down for over 1/2 a year and are just now looking like themselves again.
