It means a lot, but they've done this enough that they've been able to hone their methods and are eventually going to reach the capability of convicting people regardless of what the evidence says.

The trial itself is a farce for soo many reasons, especially because it's impossible to have an impartial jury at this point. Every single juror has had a year to see all the riots and get influenced by fake news, there's no way that they haven't formed a strong opinion on the case before they became jurors.

There's also already issues with the jurors themselves. Best case scenario is probably a mistrial. Then they'll use their second chance to stack the jury even further, especially after all the riots that will take place with anything less than a guilty verdict. There comes a point where people see sacrificing an innocent man as the greater good, because to them, Chauvin's life isn't worth the hurt feelings and all the damage and death that rioters will cause as a result of him being found innocent. So even if they believe he's innocent, they will convict out of a twisted sense of morality.

And you know damn well Biden's DOJ is probably already secretly threatening and blackmailing jurors, because Biden needs a win and if he gets it, he can tout that under his presidency, "justice" is finally served. That's too big of a political win for them to not try it.

Expert testimony proves it doesn't matter. Did you see it?
