I've never heard anyone claim that the vaccines prevent the transmission of covid in the first place... That's not how vaccines are supposed to work... the entire idea is that they prevent you getting covid, not you giving covid to someone else....

That may sound complicated but it's really not... at face value the spokesperson is correct because vaccines were never designed to scientifically prevent transmission.....

Obviously if they prevent you from getting the virus then it prevents you from transmitting it that way, but that doesn't mean you can't transmit the virus by having it on your hands are anything else like that.....
