My family stopped watching before the Kaepernick saga even though we were die-hard Steelers fans, season tickets since the 70s (Dad, I only went occasionally and he sold his seat license in '19). It was bad enough when it was four hours of commercials, but now it's four hours of virtue signaling and White people blame/hate. They've also watered it down so much it's boring. But really, I quit watching entirely when it became political, LAST effing thing I want/need on a Sunday when I sit down to relax on my day off is to be "taught how bad of a person I am because of my melanin content." Some people like that, good for them, I couldn't care less what other people like/dislike/enjoy, I just know I don't like SJW political BS that I 95% of which I vehemently disagree with and that's my right to turn off the TV, which I noticed my family does much more of lately, rarely watch anything not nature or history related. I wish the NFL luck, they're a private co and are welcome to ruin their fan base as they see fit.
