I don’t think we’re having the effect on the planet that the left says we’re having, but at the same time pretending we have “no” effect is equally dumb.

People in America have a hard time believing that mankind can have a dramatic effect on global climate because we’re clean people, but we’re the exception, not the rule.

For instance, take a look at this: https://www.iqair.com/earth

Look at how clean the air is in North and South America. Now spin that globe around and look how dirty the other half of the planet is.

Yet we are supposed to reduce our pollution, while China and India get indefinite exemptions(!?). Fucking ridiculous.

I agree. To blindly say "Humans aren't contributing" is more rhetoric than anything.

I posted higher up in the thread. I don't think it's close to what people think. There are other more substantive causes (like solar fluctuations).

People are being fooled into accepting the premise that global warming is bad. How do we know it's bad? We've had warm periods in the past where they grew grapes in England and we know areas were warmer up North because the permafrost contains the remains of plants from a warmer time.
