Why the hell does anyone care what Cher thinks about anything? I've never understood why people put stock into what celebrities think about anything. It is neither their responsibility nor their privilege to talk down to the masses, and people need to stop pretending that it is. Especially when it's an older celebrity whose fame is/was totally manufactured by the industry. This isn't Tom MacDonald here, fully independent and speaking with his own voice because he isn't contractually beholden to a third party. It's Cher, a relic of a bygone era in which sexual favors and label-manufactured acts bought success.
