And this is why they invented Fanta. "Whoops, our brand was endorsed by the Nazis, guys! We need a new brand to distance ourselves from it, but we still want the European market!"

No. Germany was cutoff from Coca-Cola syrup, how Coke was originally made. The industry was requested to imagine a soft drink from available materials. Fanta is the first syllable of the German word for imagine.

Keith's exhorting his team to "use their imagination" (Fantasie in German), to which one of his salesmen, Joe Knipp, retorted "Fanta!".
