Alabama has had voter ID as long as I can remember. They also offer tons of ways, rides, etc, to take voters to register to vote and to actually vote. We still have high democratic turnout. We have dem governors many times. It’s still ultra conservative but the ID thing is something even Democrats don’t gripe about. They’re use to it.
