As awful as Libertarians can be, id rather join them than Ronnie Ray-gun the swamp creature and his 3 letter stooges.

Libertarians used to hold individual liberty in high regard. Now they are indistinguishable from socialists.

The political party has been taken over by the far left - the same as every institution in America.

In 2008, just prior to his passing, I met LP co-founder David Nolan at a conference. I thanked him for all his hard work on behalf of liberty and he replied "it was a waste of my time". Turns out he was correct in that assessment.

The current party is indeed co-opted, looking at their candidates, its clear they are just another Tea party which was subverted.

If only it was another tea party. For example the libertarian subreddit is filled with people arguing for a "guaranteed minimum income". Mitt Romney and John Kasich are much too conservative for today's "libertarians". Look at how absolutely pathetic and far left Cato and Reason magazine have become.

The only actual libertarian still on the national scene is Rand Paul.

Don't forget Ron Paul. Also, the Mises institute has a lot of great people. They've never wavered from their mission of sound money and individual liberty.

Rand is likely a shill too given how he keeled over regarding the stolen election. Ron would be a real libertarian and the older guys like John Mccafee.
