Same thing in Russia. I just finished the Gulag Archipelago. Holy shit what a difficult read but very rewarding. It's UNBELIEVABLE how similar the movements are in the late 1920-1950's to what is happening in the US today. A push for socialism which leads to communism. The horrors of communism CANNOT be understated.
