I call bullshit. I lived in CO and had no issue purchasing a new firearm or getting a permit to carry. Even after purchasing legal chronic. That or the NICS system is worthless.
I went to CO and went to a dispensary, came back and a year later I went to buy a gun in my home state, I was held up. Don't know if this is what did it, but never been held up before.

Held up? As in the background check took longer than usual or they wouldn’t let you purchase?
I was delayed. Ended up getting it, just took way longer, like four days longer.
