I honestly expected the post to be about how external appearances matter most.

These people are going to a carwash. They will have the outside of their car washed. They will live all that junk on the inside because sorting through it isn't convenient right now.

They are more concerned with the part of the car other people see rather than the part of the car they spend their time in while driving it.
