Personally I'd prefer they just get proper treatment for their mental illness and try to rehabilitate themselves instead of mutilating themselves and committing suicide
Or if they want to live out like that we can give them their own island. Hell, send them to hawaii and force them to learn survival skills like firemaking and fishing, they'll either be dead within a week or will learn to give up that charade.
