The job I currently work technically didn't require a degree, but I'm doing pretty well for myself with "fine arts", even though it had nothing to do with it.

Part of me wonders if employers see the "gender studies" degree on a resume and put it into a pile labeled "MORONS". The other part of me knows that HR departments are unfortunately the ones doing the hiring.
