A man with a knife can close 20 feet and mortally wound a person before they can draw their weapon. This is a fact, and should be driven home to every person until it is a known fact by every person in the world.

The idea that a knife is not dangerous to a person with a gun is just total bullshit, and I am sick of the leftist talking point that there is another option once a lethal weapon is presented.

You pull a knife on an armed human expect to be shot while you are standing 20 feet away.

Back when I took my CCW classes, the instructor actually demonstrated that to the others, he and I walked downrange, he stood right next to me facing the others that were uprange.

When he'd tap me on the shoulder, I was to draw and fire 2 shots at a target while he would start sprinting back toward the group, just to show them how far someone can go before someone else can draw and fire 2 shots.

Of course, that 20ft rule doesn't apply really when your gun is already trained on your target.
