You look at all the money that is spent abroad--billions of dollars that really never make its way to the people. In that way, China is right. They go in, they manage the infrastructure projects (in return for something) but the people benefit directly as opposed to the US that throws money at these countries for no good reason and somehow, some of the money makes its way back to some of our politicians.

Now if everything except groceries get hurt, then Amazon still makes money. Most people use websites, so AWS is likely a product you use whether you pay for it or not.
