I did a quick crime mapping for the area. No businessman would open a Publix (or other large business) in this neighborhood.

Rape, Burglary, shootings, homicides, assault, domestic violence, fraud, drugs, thefts, auto thefts....

Also, there are 3 CVS, 2 Walgreens, and 1 RiteAid in Lauderhill, FL within walking distance....
