Assuming the defense was able to weed out antifa jurors this is an extremely easy case for the defense.
He’s facing 3 charges. They basically boil down to: (1) Did he not care if Floyd died and caused his death (2) did he assault Floyd and cause his death (3) did he negligently cause Floyd’s death?
#1 is easily contradicted by the complete video. It’s clear Chauvin spent nearly an hour trying to help Floyd and the knee hold was also a medically-prescribed hold to prevent heart attacks that can be caused by an adrenaline rush even when the victim is passed out. (it’s called “excited delirium”)
#2 Is basically the same analysis. He used the minimum amount of force to restrain Floyd for almost an hour. The knee hold was appropriate given the “exited delirium” symptoms, Floyd’s massive size compared to all 4 cops, and Floyd’s constant resisting, hysteria, and complete inability to follow directions.
#3 Chauvin had no way of knowing Floyd had a heart condition. So by applying a hold that only, at worst, reduces blood flow he had no reason to suspect a negative reaction. Floyd’s remarks that “he can’t breathe” were made countless times before the knee hold. And there’s no reason for Chauvin to think a blood-flow-reducing hold would be cutting off his air off. This is further confirmed by the fact the autopsy shows no damage to his windpipe. He did precisely as he was trained, if that constitutes “manslaughter” it is because white people have become second class citizens. This would never ever ever even go to court if the cop was black and the victim white.
I fully believe he ODed. That said...as an EMT...he showed obvious signs of respiratory distress and he did not , at any point try to render him aid. I watched every video. At some point during the 9 minute hold, other officers yelled about calling medical backup. The officer did not seem concerned.
NOW, I agree cops have to guard their and their partners lives , but at that moment, Floyd could barely breathe or move. I also understand that many suspects fake injuries, so he would need to still be in control of the situation.
I , personally belive it was Negligent Homicide.Chauvin should not be martyred to life in prison, however, whether he lacked proper EMR training or not...he should have recognized respiratory distress. The Paramedics or Fire should've been called way sooner than they were for backup.
It is a complicated situation. However, the autopsy even shows that his fatal wounds were not due to strangulation by physical force.
As far as blm threatening to "burn cities"...that should be charged as "jury tampering or swaying". None of it adds up. This is my personal opinion as a medically trained first responder. I am not a LEO or a judge/lawyer. I can just attest to what typical actions are taken on scene in a situation such as this. I hope that the truth will prevail and righteous justice served for the occasion...no more, no less.

Repeat EMT school and Google “excited delirium” you arrogant dumbfuck.
How qas Chauvin supposed to remove the fentanyl from Floy's system?
George committed suicide before the cops were called. He committed suicide before he entered that store to steal using counterfeit money.
He could breathe fine enough to shout at the top of his lungs. He could move fine enough to resist being placed in a police car.
He should have been honest and told them he had taken fentanyl instead of lying about not being able to breathe. If you can shout you can breathe.
