This would immensely hurt their pockets, and MOST Americans agree that food stamps should not be able to be used for things like soda, which are unhealthy and serve zero nutritional value.

I've read that 10%+ of all food stamps are spent on soda! This is how we win!

And again, most Americans agree with this stance. Let's try to make it happen. Common sense welfare reform, to where EBT is to be used for actual food, not garbage that is purely bad for the customers.

At least juice offers some form of nutrition, barely. But soda? NONE

Considering a large portion of EBT is traded by recipients in lieu of cash for drugs or non-covered items, we should just get rid of EBT period.

If we want to help people, spend that money funding food banks who can make sure people are getting good, healthy, well-priced food.
