There may very well be legal issues with this plan, I certainly want a very accurate audit, but the auditors may be overstepping and inviting (begging) for legal challenges which doesn't seem bright to me.
They are not going to peoples homes to see how they voted. They are going to peoples homes to see if they voted or ask the person who voted lives at address from which they voted.
