There is a theory out there that we are being duped into cementing the leftist lies through sarcasm. Could this be true? Part of the Uniparty game to push the Overton window is to have leftists push an absurdity, then get controlled opposition on the right to react emotionally to it as they repeat it either sarcastically (as in this meme) or with disgust (“So this is America now?!?”), and then seeing the right react, the useful idiots on the left who hate their dads dig in because they see it gets a reaction, and now the Overton window has been moved.
Notice that this is pretty much the only thing that Fox News does. Just repeats leftist talking points sarcastically or in disgust. This is what Tucker does. Then he makes his dumb face. Ben Shapiro does this. Quite a lot of people do this. It’s actually so common that it’s hard not to do it even if you think it is part of a Uniparty trick. Perhaps this is our own brainwashing on the right. It’s like we’ve been taught to do this in response to the programming. Cause: See liberal nonsense. Effect: Repeat liberal nonsense word for word but in ironic tone of total stupidity. Almost like the right is carrying out the same programming as the NPC, just sarcastically.
To me this makes a bit of sense. I feel like the deep state routinely sets up situations where there's "two choices." Either you support homosexual rights or you're a bigot. Either you are pro-vax or anti-vax. Either you are Republican or a Democrat. Either you say "Migrant" or "illegal alien."
What I think occurs is that they put forth an argument, and then we counter it. But no matter how stupid their argument is, it has now created the illusion that we are looking at a "choice of two." And some people are going to choose THEIR choice, even if it's dumb.
There's also generally a lot more options than just the 2 choices, but it's easier to draw lines in the sand that cause division if only 2 are observed by the general populace.
I quit watching Fox News when I noticed their continued replaying of leftist attacks, in their entirety, followed with a brief reaction chat.
So the upshot was the leftists continually had their crap presented to the whole conservative audience. There was nothing reciprocal like that in leftist media,they NEVER present the whole of a conservative position on ANYTHING.
