Airline industry should remember what happened last time when some mentally ill assholes with no prior pilot experience, but significant agenda, took control of planes.
Mentally ill guy stole a plane and barrel rolled it then crashed it as a suicide. The ATC audio is....well....scary.
At one point he says "If I pull this off you think Alaska will hire me?" and ATC says "If you pull this off Id imagine they would hire you for anything" and he replies "YEAH RIGHT. IM A WHITE GUY"
Poor guy didn't have a mental breakdown. He had a complete and total mental collapse. RIP Sky king.

The ATC audio is horrible but also uplifting.
Just a mentally ill guy who was doen on his luck. Never hurt anyone but homself and wow. What a way to go.
