I think that this is a very underrated comment. I truly think that many of our politicians, judges (same thing) and people in power throughout our country and the world forgot the digital and other surveillance capabilities of bad actors. They continued to do all the shit that they got away with for years. Then the new ways to surveil hit and they didn't adapt. Viola! Now they are being controlled by the bad actors. It is the only explanation that makes any sense.
