The US interstate highways were created and constructed under the direction of President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Eisenhower was a WWII veteran and saw the effect the German highway system had on enemy supply lines.
When he became president he implemented a national interstate highway program which standardized the modern numerical highway labeling system but also made traveling easier for citizens and the transportation businesses, (which in turn allowed businesses to compete across the nation.)
The US highway system was inspired by nazis, and therefore racist. Now do NASA.
What they say is that newer interstates were put through black neighborhoods turning them into shitholes.
But like always they have everything reversed. Highways went through black neighborhoods because that was the cheapest land to eminent domain because those 'hoods were already trashy and run down.
