I have said the same... cutting off someones breathing by laying on their neck is not easy... first Floyd was very muscled and probably had a strong neck... there are a lot of bones, nerves, blood vessels in the neck so its not easily done... you'd have to be bearing down hard AF and probably more likely would cut off blood and not breathing...
Autopsy also showed no damage to the neck/trachea. It requires a lot of sustained force to actually strangle a person to death. It's why sleeper holds are more effective to knock someone out since you just hit the blood supply to the brain.
If he felt he couldn't breath it was because he was having the mother of all panic attacks because he was high/delirious on multiple drugs and about to be arrested.
In the video he keeps talking all the way up until he's taken away in the ambulance. I can tell you from personal experience that it is not possible to speak while you are being choked.
