I like Dave Landau, but he is digging his heels in here for no reason. What more do you want? You can nit pick and doubt every little detail, but the inevitable conclusion is that Floyd died from an overdose, and not asphyxiation. There is no overwhelming evidence to indicate this.
No, I see where he's coming from. The official cause of death is Hypoxia, and that could be caused by many factors, so it's not so cut and dry. A poor recreation of the incident and glossing over valid points doesn't help.
We know that the left doesn't give a fuck anout the actual facts, but when this ends and the savages riot regardless of the outcome, it'll be these details that will cause them to either gain or lose support with sensible people. Moderates who're just waiting to see the evidence.
If we can establish that we addressed the event in good faith, and Chauvin is acquitted, then all their rioting will backfire. However, if it has even the appearance of being shady, it'll give credit to their claims that the system is rigged, which will help any leftist pos who'll promise to fix it.
I get that, but Dave is just being annoying here. The whole point of the thing was Crowder showing that a police procedure like kneeling on someones neck to restrain them is NOT deadly. All the other factors like Floyd ODing on drugs would only make the case further and prove that Chauvin did not murder Floyd.
"It looks uncomfortable" like no shit Dave, being handcuffed and facedown on cement while someone knees on your back so you cant get up is uncomfortable.
Yeah, he said that, but I got the feeling he wanted to say more but held back because Crowder was already annoyed and uncomfortable as it was.
And obviously, Landau was pretty uncomfortable himself. I can see why he'd want to point out some things, but also not want to push too hard because HE wasn't the guy on the ground.
