When they FINALLY located the black box, they refused to release the pilot's final words. Yeah, we know what they were.
You know, I might be remembering the way the tower employees weren't allowed to repeat what he said. I think they did find the black box eventually, but may have claimed it was too damaged to get information from it.

That sounds correct. I don't think they ever found the black box though. They've really never found the plane. It's crazy.
