Civil disobedience has been happening over shit like this since last year, you hear none of it because the media does not report on any of it. How many churches have you heard of in Ontario(this case is Alberta), where pastors refused the orders and remained open.
Zero I bet, in the city(yes 27k people is a city in Canada), 6 churches opened in defiance of orders. And have been opening every week since. The olde school Catholic church my great aunt used(she's almost 10 years dead now) to go to which is Latin for everything, and the priest even ran a latin courses three times a week for anyone interested, has been open at full capacity since last year.
