I was by myself in a hotel breakfast area, using my laptop. Frickin' CNN bleating away on the TV. I asked the clerk to change it or turn it off. Said they weren't allowed to do either. I said sorry to hear that, and walked back over to my spot. Clerk got busy, went away.

I found the power cord and unplugged the damn thing! Felt good.
